Curly Girl does chalkboard!

You know we love love love Curly Girl Design at the pickle for several reasons one of which is she is just plain and simply brilliant with her designs and quotes!  We have just received a new line of cards from Leigh,  aka Curly Girl, using her quotes written in the chalkboard style and we love 'em!  Twelve designs in the chalkboard format and I cannot choose a "most favorite" - drop by and let me know  yours.

Wenatchee First Friday - Marnye Woodrum, guest artist

Who says Valentines need be red or pink?  We do have lots of red and pink ones but we also have a few black ones made by Marnye Woodrum.  Stop by the pickle this eve 5-8 for the Wenatchee First Friday Art Walk and see Marnye's exhibit, "Paper Love" -  we'll have treats for your tummy and art for your soul.

Wenatchee First Fridays Art Walk is coming this Friday and do hope you will enjoy your walk downtown Wenatachee visiting several shops including the pickle.  Marnye Woodrum will be at the pickle showing and sharing her Paper Art Valentines.  And you will enjoy treats prepared by Julie and Rachel.

Turn your gift into a chalkboard!

Latest Curly Girl Design Cards are at the pickle

Sooner than I thought possible - the new Curly Girl Design cards arrived yesterday!  Here you will see three more of the 6 making a total of four I have shown you; just have to come to the pickle to see the last two.  And if this wasn't enough Leigh has also designed 12 new cards showing her amazing quotes only in the hot new "chalkboard look".   Maybe if all goes well we might see those in a week or so.

Rifle Paper Co. Valentines are at the pickle, arriving yesterday; prettier than I thought.  Anna Bond chooses colors that are so lovely and just makes me feel happy!  And I am hoping you will have the same reaction!

This little case full of bright colored pencils has the cute factor and is totally functional; great gift for your Valentine, or for a friend's birthday or if you like to journal carry it in your bag to add a splash of color while on the trail.

You know I love pink and red and I say that every year and it's still true!  Valentines are coming to the pickle daily and one of my favorites - Wiley Valentine - arrived last week.  Some are letterpress and some flat print - but all are beautiful!  And to make the card even more special - take a look at the envelopes!

From France - set of long colored pencils in a cute tin and short little colored pencils in a tube; cute don't ya think? 

Neither did I - but I am working on them!  Just a simple little thank you written on a postcard or something fancy - doesn't matter but it will be so appreciated.  (FYI - the paper on the table underneath the display is a Pinocchio print from Italy)
