Turnowsky cards, printed in Israel, are one of my favorites in the "beautiful and sweet" category. Lovely paper detailed with embossing, amazing colors and sometimes foil making the card a gift indeed. And we received first shipment of two today.

This beautiful journal was originally designed and crafted in Germany circa 1800. The filigree design along with metal clasps makes this journal one of my favorites.

Letterpress and gold foil is becoming the "in thing" with many of the small letterpress businesses and I rather like the the look if it is done marginally such as Smock is doing with their new cards.
New from Rocket Ink comes bookplates along with thank you boxed notes. You must know it is difficult finding fun bookplates but I did! Hope you like them!
Who wants to write special thoughts or ideas in an ugly journal - not me! The pickle has many many journals and high on the "nice list" are the journals from Paper Blanks such as this new one; I love the metal clasp closure!
What the Dormouse Said is my all-time favorite quote book. A couple of hundred quotes taken from beloved children's books makes the best read or just a great reference when needing something special to say in a note to a friend. Currently the pickle has a few in stock but word is the book is out of print and who knows if we will be able to order again.
